This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for February 19, 2009:
to regret is to carry the past
like a bubble that never ends
to hold everything accountable
leave nothing unjudged
to carry the weight of the world
and to never know peace
once I held on to regret
as if it would save me
as if it would redeem me
now i see it fall through my fingers like sand
and i am glad to be rid of it
I will never regret being me
like a bubble that never ends
to hold everything accountable
leave nothing unjudged
to carry the weight of the world
and to never know peace
once I held on to regret
as if it would save me
as if it would redeem me
now i see it fall through my fingers like sand
and i am glad to be rid of it
I will never regret being me

Amen to that, sister.
Your ‘me’ is such a poet, too… :)
Amen to your poetic blog, to thine own self be true.
Well said, to sit on a chair of regrets is to carve a throne of misery.
