How do your emotions affect your body?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 20, 2008:
Emotions are my indicators. They let me understand where my thinking is at. I need to listen to the ebbs and flows of me. The more I ignore my emotions the more they become overwhelming.
I am not afraid of how I feel. I remember being afraid of my feelings, only because I didn't understand them. They do not control me as I do not control them. We two are brothers sharing the journey, the more honest I am with my emotions, the more honest they are with me.
I choose honesty when I face my emotions, and clouds of confusion and doubt fade. Clearly my emotions serve me in love, as I serve myself lovingly to listen to what I am feeling. I will notice, choose and act with love always.
Lately I have been going into healing conversations with my emotions. Always my will is to bring every emotion home to peace in my heart. As I bring the emotion home to peace I bring the thinking or the thoughts that created that emotion into peace. As more and more of my thinking transmutes into peace within me, more and more of my life contributes to the peace without me.
